Job summary

Wild Wing Cafe is hiring a Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests and guide them to available tables, ensuring a smooth dining experience. The role involves managing the reservation system, coordinating with servers, and maintaining a clean front-of-house area.

The ideal candidate communicates well, is patient, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment while providing friendly service and support to guests and team members alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of restaurant procedures and customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and bid them farewell.
• Seat guests based on preferences and availability.
• Answer incoming calls and take reservations when needed.
• Manage waiting list and notify guests when tables are ready.
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables; maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues.
