Job summary

Stonebridge Hospitality Management's Club Tavern & Grill Bozeman, MT is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests and escort them to seats. You will manage reservations, assist with seating plans, and help ensure a positive dining experience.

The role is part-time with flexible shifts, requires customer service experience, and offers room for growth within a team-driven hospitality environment in Bozeman.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage guests professionally.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, menu offerings, and promotions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for totals and change.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and escorts them to their seats in a courteous manner.
• Presents menus and answers questions about food and service.
• Manages seating arrangements based on activity and reservations.
• Performs opening and closing duties to prepare the restaurant for service.
• Assists staff with side-work and setup as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of hours, menu items, promotions, and specials.
• Responds to guest inquiries and ensures needs are met efficiently.
• Creates and manages reservations using the property reservation system.
• Maintains seating charts and confirms reservations, including large parties.
• Keeps a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Attends department meetings and completes assigned projects.
