Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a friendly host/hostess to greet and seat guests and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced setting. You will share knowledge of the menu, onboard new team members, and support other restaurant areas as needed.

Requirements include clear, professional communication, a flexible schedule, and a food handler’s card where required by local regulations. 1+ year experience in food service is preferred. Pay range is $18.80–$19.60 hourly.

Qualifications

• Clear, professional communication with customers and coworkers.
• Experience in fast-paced food service preferred.
• Food handler’s card required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers quickly and professionally.
• Share knowledge and enthusiasm about the menu with customers.
• Assist with new employee training and reinforce performance.
• Support other restaurant areas as needed (phones, transactions, stock, cleanup, documentation).
