Bob Evans Restaurants is seeking a Host Cashier to warmly greet guests, seat them, and manage dining flow with a focus on exceptional guest service. You will handle cash and card transactions, support marketing efforts, and maintain clean, organized dining areas in a fast-paced family restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills and experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge.
• Computer skills (POS system).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables.
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Delivers the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests.
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean and stocked.
• Practices safe food and beverage handling.
• Communicates with guests and handles queues and seating while managing guest experience.
• Handles cash and credit transactions; accounts for all receivables.
• Assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling, such as communicating new promotions to guests.
• Clears, sanitizes, and sets tables as needed.
