Job summary

Blue Sushi Saki Grill in Birmingham, AL is seeking a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests, seat them promptly, and manage the waitlist while supporting carry-out and in-table service. You will help ensure a clean, organized, and inviting dining area and assist guests with menu questions to create an exceptional experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, is detail-oriented, and works well with a team. Knowledge of OpenTable and Toast is a plus.

Qualifications

• Friendly, guest-focused demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
• Willingness to learn about the menu, service procedures, and to-go process.
• Experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a great first and last impression for guests.
• Seat guests promptly and efficiently, ensuring comfort and value.
• Manage waitlist, assist with carry-out orders, and deliver food as needed.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and assist guests with questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming area throughout the visit.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
• Familiarity with OpenTable and Toast is a plus.
