Job summary

Thirsty Lion Gastropub Washington Square in Tigard, OR is seeking Hosts/Hostesses to welcome guests and manage seating in a fast-paced gastropub environment. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and work with servers to provide a seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a friendly, efficient host desk, using OpenTable, and ensuring guests are seated promptly while following state liquor laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Greet guests promptly and manage seating with a courteous manner.
• Provide friendly guest interactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with servers and guests to optimize service.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a valid food service permit.
• Arrive prepared to assume shift responsibilities.
• Be well-groomed and in proper uniform; purchase attire if needed.
• Maintain the host desk ready at scheduled time.
• Know menus, specials, soups, and beers prior to shift.
• Enter to-go orders into POS accurately and timely.
• Support team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow liquor laws and company policies.
• Attend trainings as scheduled.
