Job summary

Traditions Hospitality Group is hiring a Host to welcome guests and manage seating for a smooth dining experience. You’ll be the warm first contact, coordinating with servers and management to ensure efficient transitions between seating and service.

The role emphasizes customer service, multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant, and maintaining a presentable appearance while following safety guidelines. Training and growth opportunities are highlighted in the program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (some locations may require 18+).
• Able to pass a background check.
• May require Gaming License where applicable.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Presentable appearance and clean uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them in a timely manner, considering server sections and reservations.
• Manage waitlist with accurate wait times and updates.
• Answer calls, assist with reservations and inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby.
• Coordinate with servers and management for smooth seating transitions.
• Assist in bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Provide friendly, attentive service throughout the dining experience.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
