Job summary

High 5 Hospitality LLC is seeking friendly Cashiers/Hosts to greet guests, take orders, and process payments at busy restaurant venues in Delaware. You will seat guests, handle transactions, answer questions, and help ensure a smooth checkout experience.

This role requires great communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Prior cashier or restaurant experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with guests and team members.
• Attention to detail in processing transactions and seating guests.
• Basic math skills for making change and totals.
• Familiarity with POS systems and simple computer tasks.
• Customer service orientation to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Experience in a cashier or restaurant role is welcome but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to use online scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to guests and seat them promptly.
• Accurately process payments and manage cash registers.
• Greet guests, answer menu questions, and assist with orders.
• Ensure order accuracy and address special requests.
• Keep cashier area clean and organized, restock as needed.
• Monitor supplies (receipt paper, bags) and flag low stock to management.
• Support kitchen or front-of-house teams during busy periods.
