Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly at the door, assess their needs, and seat them according to established guidelines.
• Ensure dining room staff know their assigned stations and partners; distribute guests evenly across sections and adjust seating based on service levels.
• Implement dining room break schedules and administer work schedules as directed by management.
• Accurately handle money, process payments (cash, credit, room charges), and operate the Micros POS system in compliance with hotel cash handling procedures.
• Maintain guest focus, check with guests to ensure satisfaction, and assist staff with taking orders when needed.
• Notify management of any dining room issues and follow directions carefully.
