Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests, welcome them into the establishment and seat them.
• Be the first point of contact; provide guests with initial information and comfort while waiting.
• Offer drinks and/or finger foods to guests waiting for seating.
• Take initial drink orders when appropriate and relay details to the server.
• Monitor dining room occupancy and assist with seating assignments to optimize flow.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicate respectfully with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
