Skillets in Delray Beach is seeking a friendly Host to be the first friendly face guests see, greeting diners, seating guests, managing waitlists, and guiding the flow of the dining room with a warm, professional demeanor.

You will answer phones, relay messages, maintain a clean host stand, coordinate with the waitstaff for timely service, and strive to create an exceptional guest experience every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and ensure they are comfortable.
• Manage guest reservations and maintain an organized seating system.
• Answer phone calls, take and relay messages, and provide accurate information to guests.
• Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Maintain a clean and presentable host stand and lobby area.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the management team to improve guest experience and implement any required changes.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
