Balls Food Stores' Price Chopper is hiring a dependable Courtesy Clerk to join our team. You’ll help create a smooth shopping experience by assisting guests, bagging groceries, keeping aisles tidy, and supporting cashiers and front-end operations.

This role fits someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, and taking pride in clean, safe, and welcoming store environments. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful, and we value punctuality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in grocery, retail, or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly guest service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Assist guests with bagging groceries and offer carryout service.
• Retrieve carts and maintain a safe, clean exterior area.
• Keep entrances, checkout areas, and common spaces clean and welcoming.
• Support front-end operations and respond to guest needs promptly.
• Stock, rotate, and face products to support presentation and availability.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and leadership to support operations.
• Participate in trainings and restock or assist other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
