Job summary

Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island is seeking an energetic Food Runner to join our team. You will transport food from kitchen to guest, set up condiments, and ensure a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced resort environment.

Responsibilities include expediting orders, coordinating with servers and kitchen staff, and completing side work and closing duties. Must be able to stand for long shifts, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and

Good organization and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand entire shift and lift 50 lbs.
Able to climb stairs.

Responsibilities

Transport food from kitchen to guest using correct table numbers and seat positions.
Set up condiments and line items for service.
Complete assigned side work and closing duties.
Expedite orders from hot, cold, and sushi windows as needed.
Communicate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
Assist with pre-bussing tables and returning full dish tubs to the kitchen.
Notify manager-on-duty if a guest is not fully satisfied with their experience.
Maintain knowledge of department policies, standards, and procedures.
Be available for work outside of normal schedule (evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays).
Adhere to all resort policies and procedures.
