Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking a Food Runner for Tommy Bahama Miramonte in Indio, CA to support the culinary and service teams. You will ensure timely delivery of hot and cold dishes, assist with expo operations, and help provide a seamless dining experience for guests.

The role requires excellent communication, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A Food Handler’s card is preferred, with weekend/evening shifts common.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations’ skills.
• Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Possesses valid Food Handler’s card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to restaurant tables by table/seat number and guest rooms in a timely manner.
• Restock Expo fridge with necessary items and keep expo area clean.
• Assure hot/cold food presentation and garnish before delivery.
• Assist servers in preparing tables for large parties and personal guest requests.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Run food to the pool deck and deliver to chairs per floor plan.
• Collaborate with team to resolve guest issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
