Job summary

Panera Bread in Summit, NJ is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, delivering warm, friendly service and high-quality food. You’ll greet guests, assemble salads, soups, and sandwiches, help in multiple stations, keep areas clean, and support the team during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ (or as required by local law).
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.
• Food Handler’s Card or equivalent training preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warm, genuine hospitality.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and speed.
• Move between stations to assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting dining environment following food safety standards.
• Support team by completing cleaning, stocking duties, and setting up the next shift.
