Job summary

Panera Bread in Plainfield, IN is seeking a friendly Restaurant Team Member to provide warm hospitality, take and prepare orders, and keep guests delighted with great food.

You’ll join a fast-paced bakery-cafe team, greet guests, assemble valid menu items, and support the front and back of house. The role offers flexible scheduling, meals on shift, and opportunities to grow with the Panera brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+ and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clearly communicate and understand directions in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy making people smile.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler's Card required by law.
• Food service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with accuracy.
• Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment following food safety standards.
• Stay adaptable to daily priorities and support next shift.
• Complete cleaning and stocking duties to help team success.
