Job summary

TPG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent at the Kimpton Overland Hotel to welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out processes. You will assist with reservations, payments, and guest inquiries, delivering a smooth, friendly experience.

The role requires strong guest service, communication, and multitasking skills. You will work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency at the front desk.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation with a professional demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and basic numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in and reservations.
• Handle check-out, payments, and receipts with accuracy.
• Answer phone calls and emails, directing inquiries appropriately.
• Manage room/service reservations and data entry in the system.
• Provide guest services, address requests and resolve issues courteously.
• Perform administrative tasks and keep front desk organized.
• Monitor access, issue visitor badges, and follow security procedures.
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile at shift end.
• Multitask across guest inquiries, phone calls, and admin duties.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth operations.
