Target is seeking a Guest Advocate in New York to deliver an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping journey.

The role emphasizes helping guests enroll in loyalty programs, promoting store services, and maintaining a welcoming environment while adhering to safety and integrity standards.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist them to find what they need.
• Resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience and end every interaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support peers and maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering and help guests enroll and use these features.
• Assist with returns or exchanges following Target policies and procedures.
