Job summary

Workstream in Newtown Square is looking for team members to provide excellent customer service including greeting guests, taking orders, and managing delivery platforms. Candidates must have strong math, reading, writing, and communication skills. Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, booths, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in all areas of the restaurant.
• Ability to reach high and low shelves.

Responsibilities

• Greet and say goodbye to all customers as they are at the register and on the phone.
• Accommodate any special needs to guests (food allergies, requests, etc.).
• Present menu options, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food.
• Take customer orders by writing them down and entering orders into the POS system.
• Wrap food according to Nifty Fifty’s procedures.
• Follow takeout procedures to ensure guests receive all requested items.
• Check off all items as you bag the food to go.
• Maintain a clean and organized area.
• Manage all delivery and online ordering platforms.
• Present guest checks to each guest and accept approved form of payment.
• Thank patrons and kindly invite them back for future dining.
• Clean counter and floors as needed.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
