Job summary

The GIANT Company in Newtown Square, PA is seeking a team member to scan/enter numbers at the register, lift and move goods, and assist with bagging orders and restocking. The role includes restocking front-end items and supporting clean-up and carts as needed.

Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, preparing equipment, setting up checkout areas and displays, and delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to safety and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Capacity to meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to use or learn the equipment and tools used for this job.
• Completion of the introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Ability to perform all job functions safely.
• Ability to meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Willingness to wear properly assigned clothes and shoes.
• Technical training is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and prepare required equipment and supplies at the start of the shift.
• Block aisles, set up checkout areas, and set up displays as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Tally items, handle cash, and make change.
• Bag items and place bags into carts as necessary.
