Job summary

Scheels All Sports in Bismarck, ND is seeking a part-time cashier to deliver a personalized WOW experience. You will greet customers, engage in conversation, and promote the Scheels Visa while guiding them to digital receipts. Hours are 15–25 per week, with evening and weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months cashiering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a smile when entering and exiting the store.
• Engage with customers to provide personalized service and promote the digital receipt program.
• Accurately scan items and ensure they are rung and paid for before checkout.
• Bag purchases carefully and maintain a clean checkout area.
• Promote the Scheels Visa card and explain its benefits.
• Encourage customers to sign up for digital receipts.
• End transactions with a courteous thank you to each customer.
• Operate the cash register and follow cash handling policies.
• Stay aware of in-store events and promotions.
