7th Street Burger - Southie in Boston is hiring part-time and full-time cashiers to be the friendly face of the shop. You will greet customers, enter orders in the POS, and process payments while keeping the line moving with energy.

Qualifications

• A positive, customer-first attitude with reliable attendance.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).
• Flexible availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.
