Job summary

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill in New York is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and keep the dining area clean. You will deliver timely, accurate service and assist customers with questions.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, processing payments, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment, with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in hospitality or retail.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to process orders accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented setting with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter, provide menus, and explain food/beverage options.
• Take orders accurately, process payments with POS, and issue receipts and change.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensure orders are correct, assist customers as needed.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness, including tables, chairs, and service stations, during shifts.
• Address and resolve customer complaints diplomatically to ensure satisfaction.
