Job summary

Lowe's is looking for a friendly cashier to ensure customers leave with a positive experience at the register. You’ll help customers at the self-checkout, scan and bag items, and handle payments and exchanges in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities to assist other departments, stock shelves, and engage with customers throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic accuracy at a checkout.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods during shifts.
• Experience using a computer for transactions and input/output tasks.
• Able to lift 10 lbs unassisted or 15 lbs with assistance as needed.
• Sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.
