Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking team-oriented individuals for in-store duties at our Hampstead location. You will process guest orders, handle payments, bag items, and help guests with carryout as part of delivering a friendly shopping experience.

Responsibilities include directing guests to lanes, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting team members to build community relationships. Physical stamina and reliable math skills are important for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality is desired.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 15 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Demonstrates successful use of basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts.
• Ability to bend and lift to load guests' orders into cars.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process guest orders to ensure proper recording of sales.
• Accurately handle all monies and tender to ensure proper accounting of all transactions.
• Bag guests’ orders, place in cart or hand to guest, following carryout practices.
• Work well with all team members to grow community.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Direct guests to lanes to maintain guest flow and keep checkout waits low.
• Maintain cash controls and procedures to reduce shrink.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
