Job summary

Weis Markets in Pottsville, PA is seeking a friendly associate to greet customers, answer questions, and help with bagging groceries and cart retrieval. You’ll keep the store, vestibule, and parking area clean and safe, assist cashiers, and respond to pages and cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or GED. No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a cheerful manner as they enter the store and thanks them as they leave.
• Answers customer questions and provides other assistance as required to ensure quality customer service.
• Retrieves all shopping carts on the premises safely and efficiently.
• Keeps parking lot, store vestibule and front-end clean and free of debris.
• Assists cashiers by bagging groceries as required.
• Promptsly responds to intercom pages and maintains general cleaning duties.
