Job summary

A popular local restaurant in Philadelphia is seeking a busser to assist wait staff and ensure service areas are clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities include removing dirty dishes, sanitizing tables, preparing for the next service, and helping restock supplies. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills and a pleasant rapport with guests. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required. This role requires standing for long periods and handling light physical tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Remove used/unnecessary plates while guests are still seated at the table.
• Prepare tables for the next round of service by removing all plates and glasses.
• Sanitize the table and surrounding area for its next turn.
• Reset place settings: complete with silverware, water glasses, and bread plate.
• Restock and assist with maintenance of expo/servers' stations.
• Assist with refilling ice for bar service station.
