Job summary

sbe Lifestyle Hospitality is seeking a Busser to provide attentive service in a luxury dining setting in Los Angeles. The role ensures the venue is clean, well stocked, and compliant with Health District codes, while assisting the Back Server with tasks and table maintenance.

The position is part-time and on-site, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year experience in high-end service and hold server-related credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in high-end, service-focused environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• ANSI approved Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service certificate recognized by the ABC.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a seamless guest experience
• Constantly provides customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in each.
• Sets and resets tables according to standard before, during and after service.
• Welcomes all customers to the venue professionally and courteously, according to the established venue sequence of service.
• Communicates with management, and all other service staff to rectify any and all customer needs, comments or incidents.
• Cleans all spills immediately, notifying other staff members and using appropriate signage when necessary.
• Performs opening, running, and closing side work
• Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
• Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
• Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time
• Able to take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
