Job summary

Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa in downtown Anchorage is seeking a full-time guest services assistant to help maintain our dining area's cleanliness and efficiency. You will clear tables, stock stations, set up the lobby coffee area, assist servers, and help with general restaurant upkeep.

The role requires strong communication, a team mindset, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical tasks include light lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• High work ethic and self initiative.
• Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Enjoy working as part of a team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promptly clear and reset used tables and remove dirty stock.
• Stock and maintain service stations with supplies.
• Set up and refill coffee-to-go station in the lobby and keep it replenished.
• Promptly assist servers in pre-bussing and delivering food orders.
• Assist in general cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant.
