Job summary

Republic Chophouse in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Server to join our team, providing attentive service by taking and delivering food and drink orders and resolving guest concerns.

You will stay knowledgeable about menu items, promotions, and prep times, work closely with kitchen and bar staff, and contribute to a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to listen to and respond to customer needs.
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Handle payments and operate a POS system.
• Basic knowledge of service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from customers for food and beverages

• Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff

• Serve food or beverages to guests as defined in the Server Training Manual
• Work with your team throughout shift on running side work
• Perform proper open/close duties
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and trainings and offer suggestions for improvement
