Job summary

Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans is seeking a Full Time Bellperson to warmly escort arriving and departing guests to their rooms, assist with luggage, and familiarize guests with room features. You will work closely with the front desk team to ensure a smooth check-in experience, greet guests, and respond to inquiries about local attractions and services.

This role requires physical stamina and a customer‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests in English.
• Basic problem-solving and courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving the property.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain room features.
• Retrieves items from vehicles and transports luggage using a bell cart.
• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and assist with front desk tasks.
• Respond to guest inquiries about hotel services and local attractions.
• Organize and store luggage as needed.
• Maintain calm and attentiveness during busy periods and emergencies.
