A Guest Experience Attendant is an on-call, per-event employee responsible for providing excellent guest experiences, ensuring safety, and meeting service needs. Roles include usher, ticket taker, suite staff, golf cart operator, elevator attendant, wheelchair attendant, and door guard.

This position pays $15.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Location: Chaifetz Arena, Saint Louis University campus, St. Louis, MO. The arena hosts basketball, concerts, family shows, and community events.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
2. Greet guests and scan tickets
3. Ensure compliance with policies (food, beverages, cameras, bags)
4. Assist guests to their seats and provide directions
5. Monitor conduct and assist guests as needed
6. Maintain a safe environment and report hazards
7. Manage crowd control and assist in emergency evacuations
8. Monitor emergency exits and support guests with special needs
9. Perform various roles based on event needs
10. Distribute materials and follow safety procedures
11. Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent customer service skills
• Clear communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
