Job summary

Global Partners LP in Yarmouth, ME is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver an exceptional shopping experience while supporting store operations. You will greet guests and operate the POS system, maintaining safety and cleanliness, replenishing shelves, and assisting with vendor checks and merchandising projects.

Flexible hours may include days, nights, weekends and holidays. The role requires reliability, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs in varying temperatures

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures outside, in cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
