Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team at our Santee, SC location.

You will assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment to deliver a positive shopping experience. This role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as stocking, lifting, and unloading merchandise while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist unloading trucks.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
