Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Stanwood, WA store. You will greet customers, answer questions, operate the cash register, and help keep shelves stocked and the store clean.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional interactions with customers and team members, along with following safety policies and loss-prevention measures. Part-time opportunities may be available, with an at-will employment relationship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and sustain frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
