Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate to provide friendly service, handle transactions, and keep the store well stocked. You will assist customers, manage the register, and help unload merchandise while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time position based in Dover, DE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
