Job summary

State Technical College of Missouri is seeking Guest Service Attendants to ensure a welcoming environment for guests at Osage View. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering questions, handling reservations, and operating the POS system in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a friendly, high-energy approach, basic golf knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Greet members and guests upon arrival.
• Answer phones and provide information on facility hours, pricing and services available.
• Assist guests with booking tee-times, making reservations and purchasing movie tickets.
• Check in guests at reservation time and provide instruction on equipment use.
• Utilize the point-of-sale software system.
• Restock and sell merchandise in a retail setting.
• Maintain a customer service mindset at all times.
• Report all incidents and/or mechanical or janitorial issues to management.
• Ensure facility policies and procedures are followed at all times while on duty.
• Effectively communicate with off-site personnel to troubleshoot equipment and technology.
• Ensure the overall cleanliness of the facility to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
• A basic knowledge regarding the game of golf and the ability to explain the software to our guests.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and human relation skills.
• Ability to think and act quickly in the event of an emergency.
• Leadership skills and the ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
