Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Front Porch Guest Service Associate to provide fast and pleasant guest service at the front of the store. You will greet guests, bag orders, assist with shopping carts, and keep the front end clean and organized.

Responsibilities include price checks, helping guests to their vehicles, and relaying issues to supervisors. This is a frontline role emphasizing friendliness, teamwork, and safety in a busy grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
• Flexibility to perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Actively communicates with every guest including greeting, thanking, offering a choice of bag type, and performing any other courtesy guideline.
• Properly bags guests' orders to insure purchases are not damaged.
• Works well with all co-workers and supervisors.
• Places guest's purchases in grocery cart or hands bags to the guest and sincerely offers assistance to the guest's vehicle.
• Performs price checks.
• Relay guest problems to supervisor.
• Retrieves carts from parking lot.
• Cleans front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
• Cleans garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
