Job summary

RaceTrac, Inc. is hiring a Store Associate to be at the heart of the guest experience. You will help keep stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly, with opportunities for flexible part-time or full-time schedules and growth within the company.

You will deliver friendly service at the register or self-checkout, encourage additional purchases, and collaborate with the team to resolve guest concerns quickly. Training and a fast-paced environment help develop valuable customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock shelves and display areas as needed.
• Support inventory management and ensure food/beverage items meet quality standards.
