Job summary

Weis Markets in Lackawanna County is seeking a Customer Experience Attendant to greet customers, answer questions and help with bagging and cart retrieval at the store located at 1020 Northern Boulevard.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with no prior experience necessary. You will help keep the store and parking area clean, assist cashiers, and contribute to a safe, welcoming shopping environment for our community.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a cheerful manner as they enter the store and thanks them as they leave.
• Answers customer questions and provides other assistance as required to ensure quality customer service.
• Retrieves all shopping carts on the premises safely and efficiently.
• Helps customers by loading their groceries into vehicles.
• Keeps parking lot, store vestibule and front-end clean and free of debris.
• Maintains trash and recycling receptacles on porch, empties and replaces bags as necessary.
• Assists cashiers by bagging groceries as required.
• Sweeps, washes, mops and does general clean‑up work.
• Cleans restrooms and break rooms, replenishes supplies, disposes of waste and keeps building and surrounding grounds in orderly condition.
• Notifies store management when repairs or maintenance is needed or when unsafe conditions are observed.
