Job summary

Workstream is staffing a restaurant services role connected to a joint Applebees/IHOP concept. The position supports service, bartending and host staff to ensure smooth guest experiences across both brands.

Responsibilities include bussing, delivering to tables, maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and assisting servers throughout the shift. Must have Food Handlers Card and be 18+ for evening hours.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
• Must possess and/or obtain a valid Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
• In Oregon must possess and/or obtain a valid OLCC Card to serve alcohol within 30 days of employment.
• Must be 18 years of age to work evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Busses tables and assists servers with guest needs.
• Interacts with guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
• Carries food and drinks to all areas of the restaurant throughout the shift.
• Provides refills of beverages to guests.
• Checks and ensures the overall cleanliness of the restrooms on a regular basis.
• Restocks service items for bartenders (glasses, garnishes, ice, beer).
• Restocks service items for servers (glasses, ice, plates, rolling silverware).
• Empties trash cans when needed.
• Completes assigned cleaning duties.
