Job summary

Weis Markets is looking for a store associate who will greet customers, assist with shopping, and help keep the store and parking areas clean and safe. The role includes bagging groceries, loading items for customers, and reporting safety issues to management.

The position offers pay starting at $15.00 per hour, with opportunities to earn up to $22.00 per hour, and includes a range of benefits such as medical plans, 401(k), and paid time off for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or GED. No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist to ensure quality service.
• Retrieve and manage shopping carts; keep parking areas clean and safe.
• Assist customers by loading groceries into vehicles when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lot, vestibule, and front-end areas; manage trash and recycling.
• Monitor safety hazards, especially at entrances and exits; report issues.
