Job summary

AAA Parking is seeking a Valet Attendant at Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Hotel. You will greet guests, open doors, assist with coats and luggage, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.

You will retrieve and park vehicles, keep keys secure, maintain a professional appearance, and work with hotel staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures. A strong guest-service mindset and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with poise.
• Ability to stand 100% of the shift and meet physical requirements (lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds).
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Successfully pass a background and driving record check.
• Previous experience in hospitality or high-end customer service role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all arriving and departing guests in a proper manner.
• Communicate and answer all customer questions clearly and professionally.
• Open car and hotel doors for guests as well as assist with coats and luggage.
• Offer information about the services and facilities of the hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Assist guests with special needs or disabilities.
