Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking a Sales Teammate to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests by greeting them, answering questions, and helping locate merchandise. You will also learn to process transactions and provide outstanding customer service.

This full-time role involves merchandising, basic store upkeep, and working with management to meet sales goals. Prior experience is not required, and generous benefits apply after an eligibility waiting period.

• No prior experience or training required.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest’s needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobe experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to Guests and Team members.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies on payment/exchanges, and security practices.
• Meet or exceed personal sales-per-hour and net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Provide legendary service across the store in the Front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
• Handle checkouts and bag purchases; prepare merchandise for alterations.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s policies, Loss Prevention practices, and Code of Ethics.
