Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional guest service in a dining or hotel setting.
• Ability to upsell beverages and bakery items using suggestive selling techniques.
• Knowledge of bakery items, coffee, tea and juice service and related preparation.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take guests’ food & beverage orders and serve them with a smile.
• Prepare beverages such as specialty coffee and teas offered in the boulangerie.
• Assist guests with orders and ensure timely preparation.
• Maintain knowledge of bakery products and equipment usage.
• Maintain guest relations and respond to inquiries and feedback.
• Keep tables, display cases, and work areas clean and organized.
• Perform opening/closing side duties and reconcile daily procedures.
• Restock display case and packaging materials as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Understand hotel services and local attractions to assist guests.
