Job summary

The Harpeth Hotel in Franklin, TN is seeking a Server Assistant to deliver prompt, courteous food and beverage service in our dining room. You will help set tables, restock, and keep stations clean while memorizing menu items and specials.

The role requires a high school degree or equivalent, 3–6 months in food/beverage service, ability to lift 20–40 lbs, and strong communication with guests and team. Training provided; benefits include competitive pay and discounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are cleaned and set and provide prompt service.
• Restock and clean duties as instructed.
• Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer questions.
• Maintain restaurant areas and bussing station in good order.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings as required.
• Respond to customer inquiries with timely, knowledgeable information.
• Present a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor and handle challenging situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
