Job summary

Harri in Mechanicsburg, PA is hiring servers/waitstaff to provide a dining experience that meets guest expectations. You will coordinate with dining room and deli teams, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure timely preparation.

No previous foodservice experience is required, but you must be at least 18 to serve alcohol and complete R.A.M.P. certification within 90 days. Competitive hourly pay, meal discounts, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• No previous foodservice experience is needed, though it is helpful.
• Must possess good communication skills and be able to work with others.
• Must be sensitive to the needs of customers.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Servers / Waiters / Waitresses are responsible for serving alcohol, must be 18 years or older. Will be required to complete R.A.M.P. certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Coordinate entire station and communicate with dining room and deli personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations.
• Follow all mandatory suggestive selling techniques.
• Process guests orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and in a timely manner.
• Observe diners to ensure guests are satisfied with food and service, respond to additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.
• Present bill and accurately handle payment; make change and track all payment methods including coupons and discounts.
• Maintain a clean and organized station; complete daily and weekly cleaning and daily restocking.
• Stock and restock work stations; keep areas clean and organized; inform management of inventory needs.
