Job summary

SSA Group is seeking a Retail Associate in Fort Wayne, IN to deliver outstanding guest experiences at the point of sale. You will assist customers, stock displays, and maintain a clean, safe environment while following SSA EXTRA Guest Service standards.

Role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team or independently, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Full-time position with employee discounts and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills including POS systems and Excel.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10–35 lbs.
• Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill guest’s needs quickly and efficiently.
• Inform retail leadership when item quantities are low or special requests; coordinate with warehouse.
• Relay relevant comments from customers to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service steps to ensure a memorable experience for guests and clients.
• Stock supplies and merchandise displays.
• Keep counter and floor clean and debris-free.
• Manage cash drawer as assigned.
• Merchandise products to maximize sales and encourage upselling.
