Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Washington state is seeking hotel housekeeping staff for day shifts. Full-time and part-time positions are available with a starting wage of $17.15 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, inspecting locks, reporting issues, and maintaining guest privacy. Candidates should have basic cleaning knowledge and strong guest-service skills; prior hospitality experience is preferred. Work nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Exceptional guest service skills required.
• One to three months experience in hospitality/cleaning preferred.
• Basic knowledge of general cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and managers.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hotel rooms to ensure a safe and clean experience for hotel guests.
• Prepare and maintain cleaning cart with supplies for efficiency and ease of cleaning rooms.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets, fixtures in rooms, and hallways.
• Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings.
• Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilets, sink, mirrors and walls to maintain sanitary restrooms.
• Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature for arriving guests.
• Strips beds and remakes with fresh linens.
• Wipe down closet doors, handles and shelves and restock guest room supplies.
• Inspects door and window locks and reports any unsafe situations to security.
• Document any deficiencies, including mechanical and electrical problems from guest rooms and report to housekeeping supervisor.
• Label and submit all lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor immediately.
• Respects guest privacy and maintains confidentiality.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
