Job summary

The Sitio at Atlantic Park Surf Virginia Beach, VA is hiring a guest-focused bartender who greets guests, takes orders, and prepares drinks per recipes. You will maintain clean work areas and assist bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Requirements include 1–2 years of food & beverage experience, good English communication, basic computer and POS skills, and a High School Diploma or GED. This on-site role involves standing up to 8 hours and complying with liquor regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED or Work Equivalent.
• Certification in an alcohol awareness program.
• Computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS systems preferred.
• Good English language skills, written and verbal.
• 1–2 years experience in food & beverage preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred; liquor, wine and food service training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be in proper uniform with nametag and maintain guest relations.
• Greet guests and take orders (food and beverage) and upsell.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, hours, and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor regulations and responsible service.
• Prepare drinks per outlet recipes and assist bar staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Handle payments and cash bank according to SOPs.
• Assist in emergencies and adhere to policies.
